Prairie Creek Farm in Chesaning (click here for map) will be hosting a free clinic and tack swap on March 21st, 2009, from 11 am to 7 pm. 3 different sessions are scheduled. At 12:00 Steve Shaver EQ/DT of Equine Dental Services will hold a discussion on the effects of dental care on performance, behavior, and nutrition. At 2:00 pm Dr. Kurt Kiesling, DVM, of Countryside Vet Services, will discuss the benefits of acupuncture. At 5:00 pm Tracie Montgomery of Great Lakes Saddlery will discuss proper fitting for English saddles.
