Northern Michigan Paint Horse Assoc is sponsoring a Benefit horse show for longtime trainer and horsewoman Val Covell, who has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. The show will be held at the Mecosta County Fairgrounds on June 21, 2009. Start time is 8:30 am. There will be coffee and donuts provided for breakfast, and pizza and soda for lunch. There will also be a silent auction, bake sale, and 50/50 drawing. Donations are being excepted for the auction and bake sale. See here for a list of items already donated.
