2nd Annual Cowboy Picnic

When: July 10-12Where: Goose Creek Trail Camp/Frederick, Mi.
Weekend Ride with our Legislators will be held on July 10-12th!

We are moving forward with the Cowboy Picnic with great expectations of a fun time together. Reservations for 40 rigs allowed by the DNR for our group have been filled. Because Goose Creek is an open camp it is impossible to secure an area for our group so we will do the best we can. If you did not get your name on the initial list you may still attend because it is an open camp but we have to know for a head count for food.

BCH-PR&B,MI quarterly meeting will be at 2:00-3:00 on Sat. July 11
Cowboy BBQ: July 11 Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m.
Our quarterly meeting will be "SHORT" which will be held on Sat. at 2:00. Meet and greet our legislators at this time. This is our chance to show them our camp and all the fun we have - a great family affair! If you have a quiet-safe horse that you would like to offer for them to ride please bring it along!
Entertainment: Our campfire music for Friday and Saturday evenings are compliments of our "Cowboy Band" - Ray Cayer- Diamond C Saddlery, Millington. If you play an instrument please feel free to bring it along - the more the merrier!
Pig Roast Picnic will be Saturday evening starting promptly at 6:00! We have Jose' from the Dominican Republic who has most graciously accepted the job to cater the entire meal for us. Has been in the US for 30 years-loves to cook and loves our country. He is also a great American who is behind our cause completely. He does a wonderful job preparing a feast and will add his special touch to our day! .... Please bring your own drinks ... and an extra chair or two just in case and sit back and relax while Jose' does the cookin'!! :)
NOTE: Cost for the weekend will be as follows:
Camping fee based on 2 nights stay @ $6.00/night $12.00 /Per Person Fee to defray DNR reservation charges ($250) $3.00 /Per Person Donation to cover cost of meal $10.00 /Per Person(Children under 12/ $5.00)
Total: $25.00 /Per Person
If you plan to spend an additional night-then you will pay the post ($6 per person) for that extra night.
Please see that you register upon arrival on Friday. Payment should be made at this time as well as signing a "Release of Liability - Hold Harmless Agreement". The BCHMI banner will be in front of Dick and Connie Kleinhardt's trailer and we ask that you please register promptly. Please write checks out to: PR&B-BCH, MI
For those who are part of our group but plan to come and camp independently, you will be required to pay the post ($6.00 per person). If you plan to attend the dinner we will need to know this as well. Your contribution for this event will be greatly appreciated!
