Hello all: The countdown is on...in eight days we will all be in one place soaking in Savvy!!!

Here's the news:

Location Change!!! We have an opportunity to use the Marquette County Fairgrounds. This is awesome because we will have the place to ourselves. The Fairgrounds are located on County Road 553 on the west side of the highway just a few miles past Taylor Road where the UP Equestrian Center is located.

Two spots available! We had two last-minute cancellations. If anyone knows of anyone who could come last minute, you will be my hero. If nothing else, tell your friends to come audit. Auditing for a week is $75 and $25 for single days. I don't want to jepordize having Dave come again by not having the clinic filled!!!

What is available to use?
- Outdoor riding arena
- Bleachers
- Outdoor covered stalls ($15/night)
- Camping spots with electric ($20/night) (I'm not sure about water hookup yet but will find out)
- Restrooms
- Washracks
- Riding trails with access to lake
- UP Equestrian Center will be used if rain is predicted

Items to remember to bring:
- Negative Coggins (
copy please!!!)
- Parelli equipment
- Water buckets
- Hay/grain/vitamins/salt
- Shavings (shavings can be purchased at a local store if you don't have room to haul them)
- Fly spray
- Food/drinks for yourselves. We can talk about having Aubrey's delivered like we did last year. I will bring a coffee pot for all to use.
- Final payment for the clinic (total is $825)

Check-in Time:
- I will be at the Fairgrounds between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. on August 27th to help you settle in.

If anyone has any questions in the meantime, send me an email or call me. My phone numbers are
(home) 906-486-4044 and (cell) 906-458-2008.

I can hardly believe it is that time of the year again!!! See you next week. Safe travels for those from out of town.

Amy
