Kids and Horses to Dress Up for our 

Equine Costume Party

Saturday, June 5, 12-3pm FREE!Highland Recreation Area in the Horse Staging Area, M-59 in White Lake Township

Two categories for each grade level:

(A) Fantasy or imagination: (dragons, angels, Avatar, etc.)

(B) Historical: (Medieval, Indians, military, pony express, etc)

Grades K-4 • 1 PM (an adult must accompany K-4th grade child while being judged)

Grades 5-8 • 1:30 PM

Grades 9-12 • 2 PM

Child may be mounted or beside horse. When decorating horses please keep safety in mind. You can use washable paint, ribbons, beads, feathers. Ribbon awards for each category based on creativity and originality of decoration of both horse and rider. A People’s Choice ribbon awarded for show favorite.

                           

Plan to arrive an hour before scheduled class. Registration must be received by May 28. Rig space is limited so early registration is suggested. Vehicle permit required for park entry. We invite participants to ‘undecorate’ and ride the horse trails after the event.
